WHAT IS A TANGRAM OSI SCORE™?

An OSI Score™ is created with a combined visual Thermogram scan and verbal medical and dental assessment. Our proprietary software and trained WellPod team use this information to give patients a total Oral Systemic Inflammatory score (OSI Score™) and create a customized treatment WellPlan for your long term health.

WHO IS MY WELLPOD TEAM?

Your WellPod Team is made up of trained wellness care professionals, starting chiefly with a certified Clinical Medical Thermographer (CMT). The other members of your WellPod Team are integrative wellness specialists who contribute to development and customization of your WellPlan treatments.

WHAT IS THERMOGRAPHY?

Thermography is the practice of using digital infrared cameras to read heat maps created by the body’s natural response to disease. It is uniquely adept at finding early stage tumors and other chronic conditions that don’t show up on anatomy based tests. Thermography is used as an adjunct to screening equipment such as Ultrasound, CAT scan, MRI, and Mammograms.

The OSI Score™ includes a medical/dental verbal and visual assessment conducted at an initial scanning appointment. Your trained WellPod team interprets your OSI Score™ and empowers you with the information of what you need to do next for your wellness healthcare.

ARE THERMOGRAMS SAFE?

Thermograms are completely safe for all ages and radiation free. It was first developed and used by the military in the 1940s for use in night vision, but has been FDA approved for humans as an imaging adjunct since 1982.

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR A THERMOGRAM APPOINTMENT?

Don’t eat, have coffee or smoke cigarettes and avoid heavy air conditioning for two hours prior to your imaging appointment. Don’t tan or wear heavy or oil based make-up, deodorants or lotions. Don’t shave or wear jewelry.
